Presario 5 in 1 reader stops working after Windows 7 upgrade

This one has been bothering me for a while. I have a Compaq Presario F700 laptop in the kitchen that was purchased a couple years ago. After upgrading from Vista to Windows 7 home premium, the 5 in 1 card reader stopped working. It seems HP doesn’t support Windows 7 on this box so they don’t have drivers for it. I tried installing the 32 bit Vista driver with no luck. As a last resort I downloaded and installed the driver from Lenovo and it worked perfectly. Some specifics. This laptop is a model 761US. The driver from Lenovo is for a Ricoh R5U8xx device and is version 3.64.02. The lenovo site indicates the driver is for 32 and 64 bit. You can find the driver here: External link to lenovo site
